“Learning Spaces” – K-5 Refurbishment
BUILT Student Work / Interior Architecture/Design
The learning spaces project brief was to re-design the University of South Australia Architectural learning spaces on level 5 of the Kuarna Building. We were tasked with creating an innovative and collaborative space which allows for the programing of multiple learning styles and spaces, foster collaboration between a diverse student community and to future proof the university moving forwards.
Our work as designers exists within the contextual relationship of other disciplines; products exist within an interior, interiors exist within a building, buildings exist within the urban landscape. The design of K-5 explores this contextual relationship, forming a flexible, dynamic, and collaborative learning environment.
